Also: Calls Mount to Free Hostage US Reporter (CBS News, USA). The case of Jill Carroll has attracted much more press interest than that of the CPT - partly because it involves the media reporting on its own; and partly, I suspect, because her situation is not overlaid with the same kind of uncomfortable political and religious overtones.
