Good quote Simon - one to remind myself of regularly. Perhaps the impending recession may burst all our comfort bubbles a little and remind us of the truly poor...

Where does the quote come from exactly?

There may well be other variants of this quote. Dorothy Day repeated herself a lot, as good teachers do.
