[125.1] MAKING A PURPOSEFUL DIFFERENCE

A prayer adapted from St Francis for an interreligious conference concuding in Geneva today. It is from His Holiness Aram I, catholicos of the See of Cilicia of the Armenian Apostolic Church (Antelias, Lebanon) and moderator of the WCC Central Committee since 1991.

Let us be instrument of peace,
Where there is violence.
Let us promote love,
Where there is hatred.
Let us work for reconciliation,
Where there is conflict.
Let us spread hope,
Where there is despair.
Let us be light,
Where there is darkness.
Let us lead the broken world
To healing and transformation.
